I am Who I am
I am a web developer with ten years of experience. In the first seven years, I loved my profession and constantly switched between working for big companies and startups. Now, I have become an independent developer active in the cryptocurrency field. I will document how I transitioned my career, balancing development with learning financial knowledge and trading techniques, becoming a mature "speculator."
Purpose
Writing should have a positive impact on me personally. My undergraduate university was quite ordinary, but during that time, I established my own independent blog to record and share my learning and experiences. I also designed some WordPress themes related to my field, which may have helped me secure offers from big companies during campus recruitment.
However, after starting work, I stopped consistently producing content. So much so that I don't even know how to start writing this introduction. Although I have had a rich personal experience, I haven't accumulated anything of my own. I can only console myself with the knowledge stored in my mind.
Now that I have become an independent developer and want to make a career transition, I don't have any platform to give me an "ability" boost. Although I have been dabbling in the cryptocurrency circle as a hobby for the past two years and made some money by luck (at least the current investment capital is from previous profits), I haven't been able to progress further. In order to avoid losing my money without relying on my skills, I need to start from scratch and learn some financial and trading knowledge. One of the best ways to learn is to restate what I understand to others. This is one of the important reasons why I am starting to produce content again.
I will also share some of my opinions and experiences for reference and to allow others to correct my viewpoints and understanding if they are incorrect, helping me correct any biases.
In this process, my writing skills will also improve, making it a highly beneficial endeavor overall. The best time to plant a tree was ten years ago, and the second-best time is now. Let's do it.
Plan
I don't have many long-term plans. Based on my strengths and areas of study, future articles will cover topics such as dApp development, trading, DeFi, and data analysis.
In the short term, my plan is mainly to study the following books:
- "Principles of Economics"
- "Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques"
- "Volume and Price Analysis"
- "New Wyckoff Method"
I will share some notes and summaries based on these books and also share lessons and insights from practical experience.
